Grill Chef/Kitchen Manager

Successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a Mexican restaurant as a chef/sous chef with kitchen management responsibilities and another 2 years’ experience on the grill, preferably with charcoal, cooking steaks and fish. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive work environment for the kitchen staff, kitchen staff management, maintaining inventory and kitchen cleanliness, and food safety. Paid vacation, travel to BVI and work permit costs are included in package, if required. Compensation based upon experience. Sous Chef/Assistant Chef

Successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a Mexican restaurant as a chef/sous chef and another 2 years’ experience on the grill, preferably with charcoal, cooking steaks and fish. Responsibilities include working the grill, coordinating order delivery, and kitchen staff management when on duty. Travel to BVI and work permit costs are included in package, if required. Line Cook

Successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a restaurant in a similar position. Responsibilities include light prep of food items such as salsas, guacamole, tortilla chips, salad ingredients, etc., shift food setup, plating, shift food breakdown, and light cleaning of work station. Travel to BVI and work permit costs are included in package, if required. Compensation based upon experience. A positive attitude at work and the ability to work as a team are essential requirements for this position. Daytime and evening positions are available.

 

Dishwasher

A willingness to work hard, to move quickly, and to maintain a positive attitude at all times will get you this job. No experience necessary and both daytime and evening positions are available.

 

Host/Hostess

Successful candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in a restaurant in a similar position. Experience with the Aloha or other POS system is a plus. Compensation based upon experience.This is the first person any customer will see as they approach the restaurant. As such, candidates for this position must be willing to be friendly and welcoming to all customers. Candidates must be flexible and willing to respond to customer requests for assistance when the servers are busy.

 

Food and cocktail servers

Successful candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in a restaurant in a similar position. Experience with the Aloha or other POS system is a plus. Compensation based upon experience. Customer service is essential to this business operation and we anticipate that the restaurant will be extremely busy. Because of this candidates for server positions must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times even when under pressure, must be polite to difficult customers, must work closely as a team with other employees, and must be willing to move quickly when necessary to maintain quality service standards. Daytime and evening positions are available.

 

Bartender

Successful candidate will have at least 1 year bartending experience working in a restaurant or club. Experience with the Aloha or other POS system is a plus. Compensation based upon experience. Customer service is essential to this business operation and we anticipate that the bar will be extremely busy. Because of this candidates for bartender must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times even when under pressure, must be polite to difficult customers, and must be willing to move quickly when necessary to maintain quality service standards. Daytime and evening positions are available.
